Ok, to prove the PSP is better than the DS lets look at some of the pros/cons for each.
PSP- pros: superior graphics, sleeker design, analog stick, internet browser, mp3 player, photo viewer, video viewer, custom backgrounds, WLAN, USB connection, Twisted Metal cons: 5 hour battery life, no-Mario, cost
DS- pros: yes-Mario, chatting system, Advance Wars, Castlevania (both of which I am not particularly fond of), longer battery life, cheaper, touch screen cons: no music, no pictures, no videos, no personal stuff period, two screens look awkward, no WLAN just p2p (basically no internet)
I believe the PSP is better. What do you guys think?

Yes, the DS does have Mario Kart, but what if two people were playing Twisted Medal: Head On? Or Wipeout Pure? The DS does have some good games and Mario Kart is a really fun multi-player game, but that doesn't mean the PSP doesn't have some good ones also.

PSP would win my vote if they had a Final Fantasy game.

Yeah, those RPGs sound like they're gonna be pretty good. At first I was excited about The Legend of Heroes, but after reading a review with Amoeba about it, some of the minor flaws in it, such as the slightley flawed translations, would get annoying. I've heard Untold Legends was pretty good, but I have yet to play it. Anyone out there that can think of some other good games for the PSP?

The Nintendo DS is a straight-up better system, and here is why: 1. The NDS has some very good games that you could not play anywhere else. (With the excpetion of using PC tablets for games...?) 2. The NDS is only $129. 3. The NDS has a FUNCTIONAL touch screen. 4. Amazing games. The PSP is a pretty cool system. It plays mp3s, videos, games, you can view the internet, it has online play, all of these things are great. BUT, the PSP does not do any of these things THE BEST. At $250, you would think the PSP would do something BETTER than other $250 electronics you could buy. The PSP is NOT a great portable movie player (Apple's iPod video or Creative's Zen Vision are much better choices). The PSP is NOT a great music player (same as previous). The gaming experience on the PSP is not superior to the NDS. Though the graphics are superior, almost ALL of the games on the PSP can be played in some way, shape, or form on the PS2 at nearly half the price with better graphics. And you can browse the internet? Whoopidy-doo! So can just about everything else. What is worse is the expensive proprietary memory you have to buy to even use most of these features! Know what else makes the NDS just plain better? You can go to www.gameboy-advance.net/nintendo_ds/nds_flash_card.htmand pick up a GBA flash cart that will allow you to play: NES ROMS, SNES ROMS, GBA ROMS, GBC, ROMS, GB, ROMS, music, videos, and more for DIRT CHEAP and a little know-how! The only reason to buy a PSP over a NDS would be if you have: no TV, no mp3 player, no computer (though you need one to use most of these features), no movie player, AND NO OTHER VIDEO GAME SYSTEMS. If you fall into this categorey, $250 may not be a bad deal if you want a general entertainment experience while you live in your cardboard box. As a former worker of the gamer retail market, and an avid gamer of 15 years, I can honestly say, at least for this gamer that.... ... ... ... (tries to restrain the inner n00bishness) ... ... ... ... NDS > PSP. PSP = teh su><0rz! Thank you!

I have to agree. The Nintendo DS is far superior in many ways. I myself am only really interested in the PSP, because I've heard talk of a good few Megaman games for it. Besides that, I'd much rather go for a DS myself. Nintendo wins.

get a life If you're going to directly insult somebody, at least register so they can insult you back privately.
